YO! BUNIT RAPS!

Yes, the top ten example of the squeelies, meedlies, and tremolos ever to be put to record.  These are the songs that you can't help but break out the air guitar for, regardless of whether or not you're driving a car when you hear them.

1) Eruption, Eddy Van Halen - This one is a clear favorite for the simple fact that no matter how many times you hear it, you just can't figure out how the hell he did it.  Wheter you enjoy the opening section of guitar flourishes and fills or the soaring "melody" that is truly THE piece of guitar kick assery which all other pieces of guitar kick assery are measured by.

2) Free Bird, Allan Collins/Lynyrd Skynyrd - So...Freakin'.....AWESOME!  But seriously, if you've never played air guitar to Freebird, you haven't lived, playing it in guitar hero is suitable as well.  From the mellow slide guitar to the epic heights off the solo which never lets you go this song rocks your panties off.

3) Hangar 18, Marty Friedman/Megadeth - Theres a reason why these two songs are on Guitar Hero People, THEY"RE FREAKIN SWEET.  This one in particular weasels its way up high on the list because the guitar doesn't just rock, it really makes the song.  The guitar solo brings the energy from high to Dangerous levels of intensity.  All in all just some balla ass guitar work. 

4)  2112, Alex Lifeson/Rush - Easily the most epic song on the list.  Every time the guitar comes flying into this one you can't help but wish your parents had forced you to stick with those guitar lessons you took for two weeks in sixth grade.  Lifeson is normally overshadowed by the epitome of all drummers Neil Peart and the quintessential Bassist Geddy Lee but in 2112 he shows that he has more than enough talent to be counted among the best guitarists of all time. 

5)Sympathy for the Devil, Keith Richards/Rolling Stones - This purddy lil song gets on the list for being a whole lot different from most guitar tracks.  You might say it's odd to have a song on a top ten guitar pieces where there is no guitar until nearly 3 minutes into the song.  Well, thats part of why I like this song, hearing the guitar in it is like finding the strawberry starburst in a bowl of yellow ones,  its all good but strawberry is just so good.  The guitar comes in and out playing off time and disjointed yet tasty fills, enough to satisfy any pallet.

6)November Rain, Slash/Guns n' Roses - Another semi-epic song that, however cheesy, is so much fun to listen to.  I like to compare this song to Freebird, with the heartfelt lyrics building it up and the guitar solo just tearing all down until there's nothing left but a big smoldering mess with Slash shredding away in the middle of it. 

7) While My Guitar Gently Weeps, George Harrison/The Beatles - MMM, complex playing from one of the greatest minds in rock history.  Seriously though, Harrison got the shaft all through his years in the Beatle, constantly being overshadowed by Lennon/McCartney until he busted the proverbial nut in one of my favorite Beatles tunes. 

8)Leprechauns, George Brigman - If you've never heard of Geroge Brigman, you probably don't live with my brother.  Usually he finds crappy indy music which i steal regardless but Brigman is a total mind trip and no song typifies his playing better than Leprechauns.  Its an instrumental that flows and shreds and riffs all at once and is my #2 "Should be in Guitar Hero" song right behind.....

9) Reelin' in the Years, Elliot Randall/Steely Dan-  Now THIS is a smooooooth guitar song.  In Reelin' in the Years Steely Dan's use of session musicians really payed off as Randalls solo can be counted as one of the best in many peoples opinions (Whose you ask? Why Jimmy Page ranks it as his #1.)  The guitar work adds so much depth to this song that without it no one would have ever really listened to the always great lyrics of Donny Fags and Dub Becks. 

10) Comfortably Numb- David Gilmour/Pink Floyd - If you want to learn to air guitar, this is the jump off point.  The guitar solos shred the nuts off of any and all who hear them, matching nicely with the spaced out lyrics all Pink Floyd fans expect.  Just let your hair down, listen, and flail your arms while Gilmour does his thang. 

    And there you have it folks, THE prime examples of guitar kick assery like only the masters can deliver.  Listen and enjoy.

Yeah, I decided that I had a ton of ideas for top ten lists, top five lists, etc.  So I'll be putting them down here for everyone to enjoy. 
To kick things off i think I'll do one of my personal favorites:

TOP Five MOST OVERRATED ROCK AND ROLL BANDS

1)   A.F.I.- The unfortunate spawn of really pretentious, over done metal-emo-alternative hot topic garbage.  I originally thought they were alright, but the more i listened to Sing the Sorrow the more dopey and self important the songs sounded.  The release of their new album has cemented that distinction in my mind and their place on this list.
2)  Greenday-  Okay, again into the whole "we're so smart and or music has so much meaning, blah blah blah."  Greenday built its following off of songs about Masturbating, dookie (literally), and other toilet humor.  At this point I think you HAD to like them, just cause that's awesome song material. With American Idiot the terrible monster Pretentious came and sucked all the fun out of Greenday, leaving them with a few decent singles that were quickly played into the ground by rock and pop radio.

3)  Red Hot Chili Peppers-  Once one of my favorite bands ever, the RHCP have fallen from grace in there past two albums, By The Way and Stadium Arcadium.  There earlier work was fueled by drug abuse, homelessness, and ceaseless turmoil that led to the bands breakthrough BloodSugarSexMagik (BSSM) which was cooler than anything else out there.  After John Frusciantes departure and return the band released the brilliant Californication, cementing them as rock stars and bringing them wealth and fame.  This success ultimately led to the loss of feeling present in their music today.  The band is no less musically talented now than they were then, it seems that they simply don't try as hard to make innovative music.  Where Californication and BSSM pushed the limits of a rock-funk fusion, By The Way and Stadium Arcadium are simply filler.  The band could package just about anything and it would be successful, and it seems that it has gone to their heads.  Not a bad band, simply a band fallen from a once mighty pedestal and relegated to writing bloated, uninteresting albums. 

4)  Trivium- God save your soul if you disagree with me.

5)  Lenny Kravitz- What can I say about Lenny Kravitz?  Well he seems completely incapable of making any interesting music whatsoever.  Some of his biggest hits have been covers (American Women,) others have simply been overplayed to the point where they are vomit inducing to the average human.  While blessed with success at every turn Lenny was unfortunately not blessed with the ability to make good music.

So there you have it, top five most overrated rock acts, leave comments to agree or to debate, but keep in mind, i have God on my side.

Let me think, it's been like 3 or 4 months since i cancelled the BUNIT show and so much has changed since then. Actually not much has changed, everything's back to normal what with the school and the friends and the hanging out after school. Senior year is shaping up to do some serious ass kicking, especially Wilson and Woody's class. Biology AP and Comp Gov seem to be pretty sweet as well.
Anyways, you were all there for the past few months so that's enough recap.
Tonight was uber sweet mostly because I went to see a little band called the WHITE STRIPES! Yeah, it's the second time I've seen them in concert and this time was so much better than the last. I don't care what anyone says, Jack White can play guitar like it's nobody's business and Meg White is the only drummer who can pull of having no actual talent at drumming but still managing to kick ass at drumming. They played all their new songs and their best old ones and the best part was they don't sound like they're playing for a record, instead they're always changing up the solos and playing every song in a new way. And Jack had a pseudo Jacko moment when he pulled a little girl up on stage and let her chill up there and even play tambourine with them, yes I was jealous.
Well, that's why I came outta retirement, just to tell you how awesome that show was so ther you go, and I may or may not keep doin this whole LJ thing.

Not really, but that would be cool if I did.
Ah, where to start about last night? With meeting candy fowers for the first time? or with taking pictures at McD-units house?. No, there was way too much awesome stuff going on to just write it here. There was me, Lucia, Phil, Andrew, and everyone else and they mothers at Andrews house taking pictures and I don't think anyone took a single picture where everyone is looking the same way. The prom was even better than I thought it would be and if you weren't there, there is no way to explain it to you on my goofy ass LJ. The after-prom party also kicked ass, sleepy though I was when 4 am rolled around. Phil was a retard on the Mechanical bull with his stupid cowboy hat. Now the American Gladiator Ear Swab fights, those kicked ass mostly cause I never lost.
All in all, the night was tons of fun, Lucia looked great, I looked even greater, and Kyle was creepy, what else could you ask for in a Prom?

Well, this weekend is shaping up nicely despite the crappiest weather in a long while. I mean, i needed the heat on for the first time in like a month and a half, what gives?
But thats jpretty much my only gripe about the weekend so far. OH wait, i forgot,
SAT II'd!!!
Yeah, they were boring but not as long or gay as the regular SAT, which I took in march. I had the ghetto Math one which was pretty easy even for a math retard like me. And the History one, ha, after the AP testage it was literally laughable. Bu they still made it 90 questions long and I was done in like less than 40 minutes.
But the real fun stuff of this weekend all started friday with the Lacrosse game against Cambridge, now Cambridge sucks but when we came out like we wwere mentally retarded and had never seen a Lacrosse stick before they were able to make a game out of it. I think I played pretty good, specially that half field pass right on the money to Suid who was up at the midfield line. And defense pretty much shut em down for the third and forth quarter.
And after the SAT's on saturday where I saw Alex Kowalski for the first time since like 8 grade i pretty much took a 4 hour nap from 12-4, so nappy. And then L to the ucia came over to watch some Anchorman action, which I was shocked to hear she had never seen before, but I straightened that out. Good kid that Lucia, good kid.
Any ways, thats the weekend, next weekend is prom and it should be pretty sweet.

 Anyways, how was theweekend? Rainy, Damn Strait it was.  But i made the best of it.  First to kick thangs off the Night of Noise was impressive, The treehuggers were good, specially Kyles sweet 425 uniform and Cj's eyemake-up.  And Verloren just kicked everyones ass cause they actually play real shows and have been practicing for a lot longer.  OH, PS, Joe Brock, um you might wana learn how to seperate the hi hat from the snare drum before actually getting on stage.  But then again he was with a band whos best song was the Mario theme. 

  And in other news, we have inched our way one step closer to finishing Kwames and have put out the second theactrical Trailer at http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=TKM,-Trailor-2.  So go check that out. 

   Any ways, mad AP testage and SAT's this week but after that the years on its way out so I can't complain.

  Does anyone else feel like they just had a really good week but know that they have a really crappy week full of AP tests and SAT's coming up?  Because i know I do.  English monday followed by History friday and finished up with the SAT on saturday, not to mention finishing that Huck Finn Paper.   But watev, it'll get done.

Man, so cool. But anyways.
I went to UVM this past week and yes, there were hippies. But seriously it was pretty sweet. Burlington, VT might be alot smaller than like Boston or some other Cities but at least it's not in the total boonies. And it's right next to Lake Champlain, Home of CHAMP, and I'll be able to hunt him down once and for all. And there's also like 3 ski places within like 20 minutes and Montreal is only 1.5 hours away. So it's pretty sweet dood.

    Hey Stupids!

  Well, It's day five of vacation and it still kicks ass, it's been wicked flippin' nice outside so I haven't been trapped indoors and lacrosse hasn't required sweatpants since like a week ago so kick ass weather for a week off.  I haven't done much aside from lacrosse other than see Sin City again and play some poker with the crew, Curt stole my 35 bucks with pocket rockets...flippin' asshole.  I had more plans for earlier this week but ish got in the way and now it looks like thursday and friday I'ma gonna be in Vermont at UVM checking the hippie college scene.  Speaking of which, Northeastern looks so kick ass it ain't even funny.  They have like all the programs I'd want and The Wrap is actually on their meal plan, WHOA! 

  BUt Friday and saturday night I should be back so I'ma try'n set something up cause I've been just chilling and need some more excitement, so hook it up crackaz/other racial slur's.

This has definately been the best weekend in a long time. First, friday me and The L went to see Sin City which turned out to be like the most outrageously good movie I've seen in since a while ago, it restores my faith in the possibility that all green screen backgrounds can be cool, afte the unpleasantness with Sky Captian and the World of Whatever. And has anyone else notice that Jessica Alba is OUTRAGEOUSLY hott? Cause I know I did.
Saturday the Lacrosse team spanked Matignon and since I got in for pretty much the whole game it was extra kickass.
And did I mention that it was like 70 and sunny all weekend? I even got sun burned, but since my lacrosse pads cover parts of my arm but not other parts its all weird with the tanlines. But the weathwer made for good times over my cousins casa saturday and at lacrosse sunday, before i had to do more ungodly Huck Finn work.
But wat ev, good weekend, hope you guys's enjoyed it too.

You know, saturday i was pissed off at not getting into NHS and having to do homework then i realized, at least I don't have brain damage. Cause poor kids like Phil Cotto have to live with severe mental disabilities everyday and it makes my problems look kinda insignifigant. Plus today i went spring skiing and absolutely no one was there so we had the mountain basically to ourselves, which can snap you outta a funk fast as you can say, "Hey , it stopped raining."
But seriously, it was awesome. We went for my dads birthday and since it was warm the snow had started to form big puddles that you could skim across, man so awesome. And afterwards we got food at the William Tell, the most delicious place on Earth. (I think Pete would like it, it's prettty epic.)
Anyways, i bitched out Cunninghams test by getting a 94 no prob, so suck on that progress report.
In conclusion, busy weekend, wish i coulda done something saturday or friday but I couldn't and I gotta get ready for the season opener tuesday versus Belmont.

Oh man, lacrosse makes me sleepy and on top of that i have to work my ass off in Cunninghams class 'cause he gave me a progress report. But, work on Too Many Kwames must go on, regardless.
Also, as you guys's should know we here at Mr. X productions have brought another thrilling trailerfor Puppetmaster: Balls Out!. It is, unfortunately, is nearly impossible to make in feature length and has absolutely no plot. So don't expect it to be completed. But I'd recommend everyone to got to putfile.com and search for the puppet project.
Anyways, i have little to report, and few funny stories, so just go on with yo lives.

Welp, its been awhile since i rapped at y'all but i have been a busy beaver, what with the lacrosse, the dbq, and the english ish. But, I always find time for my loyal compadres on Livejournal. I have done quite a lot of stuff since sometime last week when i posted so let me update. . Yep, thats just about it. Anyways, I haven't been quite as productive as I should have been but so I gotsta step it up a notch if I wanna make it in this biz. Cuz you gotta pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues and you know it don't come easy.
Well anyways, I have at the very least set up a Prom date earlier than I did for the semi, aka very last minute. But it should be good times this year.
IN other news, Lacrosse starts next week even though it has basically already started with conditioning everyday, i miss track, so easy.
Well, I plan to see the musical this weekend and if you guys have been lying and it like sucks, I'll killa you families.
